Within your Netvibes Universe, you can now search Google without leaving your little space. The results show right within your start page and it makes Netvibes even MORE useful.

Now you can not only add widgets, read your email, view flickr photos, and of course share stories to ReadBurner…but you can do all of your googlin’ there too.

We did away with the loading screen (the hypnotizing wasn’t working!).  Now, instead of having to wait for everything on the page to load, it will load the same as any other web page.

We also made the lightbox size dynamic, based on the size of the browser window.

I found it on ReadBurner, since I don’t subscribe to this blog by Google.

Apparently, Google has come up with a way to search through Flash content. That means all of the text buttons and such within your flash intros and dancing hula girls could be indexed in Google in the very near future…this baby is in the wild!

This is huge because a lot of designers shy away from heavy flash usage because it hurts their indexing. This could really re-open the doors to flash for design on the web, and not just for videos.

This means that a Clipping is counted in the same way as a share on Google Reader or Netvibes, and you’ll now see NewsGator users side-by-side with Google Reader and Netvibes users when looking at an item on ReadBurner:

Each NewsGator user that shares their Clippings will also get their own page in the same way users of other services do, so they can keep track of how many times their Clippings are being shared and see who else is also sharing them. To share your NewsGator Clippings, go to our “Add Feed” page and follow the instructions. Nick Bradbury of NewsGator has also posted about our partnership – check out his post to get some more specific instructions to make sure your Clippings get included!

In other news, we’ve made a UI enhancement that we think both users and publishers will love. Now, when you click on a headline, the full story from the originating site will load in a lightbox on ReadBurner. As opposed to other services that pull in the full RSS feed, this means that the publisher’s entire site still loads, and it means that users can leave comments there too, all without leaving ReadBurner. Of course, if you prefer to just visit the site directly in a new window, just click the red arrow next to the headline and you can do just that.
