Some exciting ReadBurner news to share today: we’re not just Google Reader anymore! We’ve been working closely with Netvibes over the past couple weeks, and using some of their upcoming APIs, Netvibes users can now have their shared items added to ReadBurner!

Netvibes users show up (in green) side-by-side with Google Reader users (in blue) on items around the site. Every share counts as +1.

If you’re a Netvibes user and would like to add your shared items feed to ReadBurner, just go to our “add feeds” page and tell us your Netvibes username. No registration is required.

We’ve also integrated Netvibes into a main tab, just like we did with Google Reader, so now you can access your start page within ReadBurner.

This announcement gives you a bit of a taste of what we’re up to – analyzing what people are sharing across the Web on all sorts of different services. As such, our tagline has now changed to “what’s shared on the Web.” Stay tuned for more exciting announcements soon :-)

The official press release is here.
