Hey Everyone, it’s that time…for the first time.

ReadBurner is having a contest. We need an official ReadBurner widget that pulls in our cool Popular, Upcoming, Recent, and categorized items.

We need YOU!

What will you get out of it? Honestly, we don’t know yet, and that’s cool by us. You will win a prize. In fact, we’re going to give away one bigger prize for the winner (who will become our official widget person, and get mad interwebs widget maker props!), as well as 2 runner up prizes for rocking hardcore. We’ll also put up a ReadBurner Widget page that displays all of the submissions.

So if you are a flash developer, go ahead and make us some hotness. And if you’re not, try using a service like Sprout to make one. Be creative, use RSS to its fullest, since we love it so much (and so do you!)

What would we like to see? Well, being able to put it on your blog, myspace, facebook, any web page, or your rover moon lander, stuff like that…would be awesome.

Mac or Vista widgets would be awesome too!
